ANA Hotels in Japan
ANAE was established as a member of the ANA Group and observes a management policy that emphasizes offering integrated air travel and accommodation services. Since the opening of the ANA Hotel Sapporo in 1974, ANAE has expanded its network of hotels by developing and managing hotels in the increasing number of cities served by ANA.
ANAE selected Sapporo as the site of its first hotel from among the many cities in ANA's flight network and, from the beginning, set off to contribute both economically and socially to the city's development. Although management assistance was initially provided by other hotel chains, ANAE rapidly gained the necessary know-how to successfully manage the hotel independently. By offering guests both convenience and familiarity with its "Fly with ANA, Stay with ANA" initiative—promoted under the concept "Hotel & Air"—operations got off to a successful start. The opening of the ANA Hotel Tokyo in Tokyo's Akasaka Ark Hills area in 1986 is a milestone in ANAE's history. This choice location is bordered by Nagatacho and Kasumigaseki—major political and administrative centers—and situated among numerous international agencies and representative offices, including the U.S. Embassy, as well as some of the most prestigious Japanese and overseas corporations.
